Traditional Floral Wreaths for Funerals in Perth

The wreath is the most recognised and time-honoured floral tribute. Its circular shape represents the circle of life and eternity.

Who should send a wreath? Wreaths are appropriate for anyone to send—whether you are extended family, a close friend, a colleague, or sending on behalf of a business or association. They are prominently displayed near the coffin during the service.

Our Service & Customisation

Custom Colours & Ribbons We can customise the flower colours to reflect a favourite football team or personal preference.

  • Important Note on Ribbons: If you wish to add a personalised sash or printed ribbon, we recommend choosing a wreath size of 51 cm or larger. We do not add ribbons to small (35 cm) wreaths, as the sash is too large and would obscure the flowers.

Important Note: Stand/Easel Hire (Wreath Display)
Most funeral homes provide stands or easels for services. Please contact the funeral director first to arrange and reserve a stand before placing your order.

If a stand isn’t available, you may hire one from us free of charge (subject to conditions). The stand will be delivered with your wreath.

  • A $60 deposit is required.
  • Your deposit will be fully refunded once the stand is returned to our shop at 2/455 Yangebup Rd, Cockburn Central WA 6164, in good condition, within 3 days of delivery.
  • This stand is not recommended for wreaths under 45 cm in diameter, as they may not sit or present well.
  • Please note: We do not collect stands after use. The customer is responsible for returning the stand.

Choosing Meaningful Flowers

Each flower variety carries its own symbolic meaning, allowing you to craft a wreath that speaks directly to the life of the departed.

  • Roses: Represent love, devotion, and eternal affection.
  • Lilies: Symbolise innocence, peace, and the restoration of the soul.
  • Carnations: Represent enduring love and remembrance (popular for long-lasting tributes).
  • Australian Natives: Symbolise resilience and a connection to the land—perfect for a distinctly Australian tribute.

Anzac Day & Remembrance Wreaths

Beyond funerals, we also specialise in commemorative wreaths for Anzac Day and Remembrance Day services. These are typically designed with red poppies, rosemary, or native flora to honour those who served.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What size wreath should I choose?
Wreath sizes depend on the venue and who the tribute is from. Small and medium wreaths suit personal tributes, while larger wreaths are common for immediate family members, organisations, schools, and clubs.

Q2: Can I add a personalised sash or ribbon to the wreath?
Yes, we can add a printed ribbon with your personal message or family name. Important size restriction: We only recommend adding ribbons to wreaths that are 51cm or larger. We do not add sashes to small (35cm) wreaths, as the ribbon is too wide and will obscure the flowers.

Q3: Who is it appropriate to send a wreath to?
Wreaths are a universal symbol of respect and are appropriate for anyone to send. While they are often associated with close family, they are equally suitable for friends, colleagues, or as a formal tribute from a business or association. They are designed to be prominently displayed near the coffin during the service.

Q4: Can you deliver wreaths to cemeteries or memorials?
Yes. Please include the venue, service time, and any access notes so the wreath arrives in good time.

Q5: Can I customise the colours?
Absolutely. We can customise the arrangement to reflect the deceased’s personality, such as using their favourite colours or the colours of their beloved football team. Simply let us know your preference when ordering.

Q6: Do I need to provide a stand for the wreath?
In most cases, no. Funeral directors typically provide tripods or easels at the service to display wreaths. All our wreaths (51cm and larger) come prepared with hooks ready for hanging. We strongly recommend contacting the funeral director first to confirm they have a stand reserved for your tribute.

Q7: What if the funeral home cannot provide a stand?
If a stand is not available at the venue, you may hire one from us free of charge (subject to availability). The stand will be delivered along with your wreath.

  • Deposit: A $60 deposit is required.
  • Refund: Your deposit is fully refunded once the stand is returned to our shop at 2/455 Yangebup Rd, Cockburn Central, in good condition within 3 days of the funeral.
  • Return policy: Please note that we do not collect stands after the service; you are responsible for returning it to us.
  • Sizing: We do not recommend stands for wreaths under 45cm, as they do not sit well.

8) How much time in advance should I order a wreath?

At least two working days notice is best, so we can ensure the freshest flowers and have enough time to prepare your wreath and any printed ribbon message.
